I'm thinking of switching seats to manual Recaros. If you disconnect the harness for a 2019 Limited, does that cause a problem with the computer? The seats don't have airbags in them and I'm keeping the seat belt harness wiring intact. Thank you.

When I disconnected my passenger seat on my '19 Limited, the dash screen had a message that there was something wrong with the safety system. It made me start the truck twice but other than the nag message it didn't change anything else. When I reconnected the harnesses, the message went off. I suspect it had something to do with the passenger front dash airbag and the seat belts but I don't know.

Thank you, 34SF. I'm guessing now that I'd have to fool the system into thinking that passenger seat was still stock. I appreciate your response.
