I recently had my rack and pinion replaced at my local shop (not the dealer). After I got it back I drove it around for 4 days without any issues. On my way to work, which has some sharp 45mph corners, the traction control would engage somewhat violently without warrant (smooth, dry roads) . I took it back to the shop and they suggested that the Zero Point Calibration didn't take, so they were going to try and sort it out. They called me at the end of the day stating that they had tried the calibration with their Snap-On software multiple times along with some other trouble shooting , but could not figure out the issue. Does anybody have any insight as to what might be going on? I assume if you can calibrate using a paperclip, then their aftermarket software should do the trick.
