I don’t know what you are trying to say. Are you trying to steal electricity or the power it takes to turn the alternator or what are you talking about?

And use it for what? Electronics like lights and whatnot? Or engine power like a hybrid?

I have an electric Porter Cable impact wrench I definitely would like to power when I have need, looking to eliminate a portable generator as part of the gear on the road.

You could probably hard wire in a good high output inverter. Use heavy gauge wire, fuse, and a relay and you should be good to go.

I am thinking I can set up an inverter with cables that connect like jumper cables to the battery, with 10A fuse, 1000 watts would do the jobs I am looking at...just pondering this right now.....

Just put an aux battery with a isolator in the back. Hook up a high output inverter to the aux battery.

Get a power invertor wired straight to the battery.

3-5x 100 watt solar panel connected to 2x 130 AH lithium Iron phosphate battery and a 1500 watt inverter should give you 2 hours of use per day.

10 amps at 12-14 volts will only give you 120-140 watts.
