Is there a way to install the shims without taking the whole front of the truck apart? I’ve pulled the grille and headlights many times on my 16 when I had retrofit headlights in it, so it’s no biggie just wondering if anyone has found a less time consuming way.

Yep. I used 3/8" washers and unbolted one side at a time. $5 from Depot , maybe 45 minutes time and have an extra 1/2" space.

Ya that’s kinda what I was thinking by looking underneath. Looks pretty accessible, but might be different trying to shove those plates in there lol! Thanks

It’s easy. Took me 30 minutes with a second set of hands.
