With the new wheels installed, it is time to make some steps for the fender flares to be installed. However, instead of just having them painted and installed, I wanted to have Xpel paint protection film installed under the flares. I have seen what the flares can do to the factory paint so why not protect it?

I brought the truck to my friends at Detailers Domain in Norwood, NJ. For those in the NY/NJ/CT area, many know that they are extremely reputable and pay close attention to detail to every job.

They removed the tiny factory paint protection pieces from the front of the truck and redid the entire front end, including the headlights. They also did the sides of the bed with a custom cut piece.

Now that their work is done, I can schedule the truck (and fender flares) to the body shop. I got the Bushwhacker 2” flares without the fake rivets. I’m happy with the color matched door handles and hope that color matching the flares will also look as good.

If anyone is interested in Detailers Domain, speak to Phil or Kevin. They will definitely take care of your vehicle (after their typical Porsche, Aston Martin, or other high end car).

I follow DD on Instagram, I think I saw your truck on their story. I think a 4Runner Pro was also in the same day.

I wish they would keep doing the youtube videos they used to do
