I have read a lot of threads on this and wow, just wow. This Forum is outstanding and amount of information is over whelming. But I do have a question or two. I have decided on the 6112/5160 set up for the ride quality (road) vs other lifts based on what I have read here. With that being said, do I still need a 1" block spacer for the rear and or a coachbuilder shackle or both. I was under the impression that the 5160's would level the truck. Do they level the truck or give it that rake look.

Also after reading this I found that I will NOT be going to 4wheelparts, due to Bilsteins naughty list. LoL

Also I have read that you guys advise to do the diff drop. 4wheelparts first initially quoted me and put in there a skid plate adapter kit, what is that?

    Thanks

5160’s do not give any lift. They are good for up to 2” of lift. I would go the shackle route and not the block. The skid plate adapter is most likely spacers for the bolts so the skid plate has room for the lowered diff.
