    Hello,

Been lurking here for a bit, and came across a 2007 with 144k on the clock.

Frame appears to have been replaced very recently.

Would this dissuade me from owning this vehicle?

Most everything else seems solid. The bed looked solid (has a cap on it and a bedliner. I pulled it up and gave a quick look will get on a lift to see better)

    It is from a dealer. 13.5 k.

Car fax seemed ok. Regular maintenance.
Will run through the Toyota owners to get more info.

    I live in Pa.

Any reason to walk from this?

My bag, I saw the 13.5 K. Could be a good deal. You have pics? Can you take it to a local mechanic to check it over??

    Overall seemed ok.

    Pain was decent. Interior decent.

I would like the floor mount shifter. But can deal with column if need be.

    New aftermarket radio with BT

looking for aneatntonstore my firearm while traveling. Which is why I like the center console. But might be able to work it out.

And yes. An take to local to check it out.

When they replace the frame Toyota also replaces rusty parts that would be difficult to swap. Things like brake and fuel lines for example. But there's still the possibility of a rusted part that may need replacing. On my 2000 Tundra the rear axle rusted through. Most of it is thick steel but the rear center part, where the bolt is to fill it, is just sheet metal. ON an American truck it would just bolt on but on the Tundra it's welded on. I first noticed it because it looked wet but it didn't look like it was coming from the drain or fill bolts. I repaired it myself but it was quite a bit of work. If the rear axle is rusty but not leaking and you do buy the truck I would strip the rust and repaint it to protect it. The inside is filled with oil so any rust will simply be on the outside.

What are the details? Is it 4wd? What size engine? Which package (basic, SR5, Limited)? Regular cab, double cab, or crew max? Would need that information to give you an idea on what it's worth. For example last summer I paid less for my 2007 from a dealer (4wd with 5.7, 151k miles, double cab SR5) from south Carolina (so not a speck of rust).

The last line would imply the pump was replaced I believe.

    yes, I believe so...

so from a rust perspective - the main parts were replaced...that's a good thing...so Im really only looking at some additional pard (axle and possibly the fuel lines, mounts for shock (etc)...

this is looking a bit more promising.

Bought mine with a frame replacement. The truck has done me really good no regrets. Yet again it was a 1 owner has done all work threw toyota. It has brought my wife and me to california and back to nyc safe and reliable. Also keep in mind. They would need to drain fluids also. Like transmission mine was super clean. O and i bought mine with
    151,744 miles on it.

I joined to see what is possible
i'm in california, I bought my '07 2 weeks ago 4x2 for $13,500 with only 38k miles on it. 1 owner, clean carfax. Maybe consider looking at California Trucks and getting it shipped? Found mine on Facebook marketplace with the wrong title: 2007 Toyota Prerunner instead of Tundra (old people, no offense) so keep your search kind of broad?
