Hi everyone. Owner of a 2019 Tundra 5.7l CM w/Off Road package. Really enjoying the truck so far, save one little quirk. I have a high-pitched whistling sound coming from the passenger dashboard area. I did some research and saw a lot of people solved a similar issue by replacing the intake manifold gasket with a non-mesh one. Did that. Whistle mostly resolved, still noticeable at 1200-1500 RPMs with the stock intake. I just put a S&B CAI on my truck, and the sound is back with a vengeance! I figured it wouldn’t be an issue now that I have the new gasket on, but it’s there. It’s most noticeable on acceleration, around the 1800-2000 RPM range. Goes away after I take my foot off the gas. Took it to the dealer, and the tech said it’s normal for Tundras. Only thing he was going to do was to replace the gasket, which I already did. I’m at a loss here. I love the truck. It only has 1700 miles on it, but this sound is driving me crazy (although my wife doesn’t hear it, which is nice I guess). I really want to hold onto this truck for a while, but I’m at a loss for what to do. Should I put the stock air intake back on? Thanks in advance for any suggestions y’all.

Definitely, but the whistling was still there even with the stock air intake. It’s just a bit more pronounced with the CAI. I was just wondering if it’s maybe something else?

I have it too at high wind/speed. No clue. My gps antenna is over there. Stop worrying about after a few months.
