Toyota Tundra Grip Handle

Hello All! New member to this site. What prompted me to sign up is to find out why Toyota removed the driver side grip handle. I have an '09 Tundra and have looked into purchasing a new one the past couple years. The only thing stopping me from purchasing a new Tundra is that it no longer has the grip handle! The Sequoia still has it! Any one know why it was taken out and when it might be put back in? It is an essential part of a work-person's truck!

 

Don’t know why, but you can buy one from any stealership. On here, we get good prices from @Roman.

 

Before you trade in what color is the pillar with the handle. I have the grey trim piece you can buy off me and keep your stock handle. Then add it to your new truck.

This is true, found mine at a scrap yard, $25

 

Takes 20-30 min install. Longest part is cutting the gap.
