So i've never really jumped on the PRO bandwagon much, but for some reason i have the itch to lately. Question is...has anyone else done it? Is it worth it? Or should i just keep what i got and be happy...

Local Dodge dealer has a 2017 white CM Trd Pro thats been sitting on their lot for about 30-40 days. Has 34k miles and is clean. They are asking $41k but the salesman (who is a newbie) told me he can do ALOT better and they need to move it. Only extras are spray in bedliner, bed lighting & predator side steps. I checked it out today, its a 1 owner and doesn't appear to have a cam tower leak and drives good.

My truck is a 2018 Limited CM, 25k miles. Recently installed coilovers/TC uca's, has ARE shell (which i would keep) and numerous other upgrades. I do like my truck. I would prob break even with what they offer me on trade....so....i know opinions are biased, but just would like to hear others thoughts. 20190803_194247.jpg 20190803_194310.jpg

You know what your truck has been thru you don’t know anything about the other.

If you trade in put your stock parts back on first or that’s even more money lost.

    I chose white over red

    I’d chose limited over pro

Over all I’d stick with yours

Good points. Im leaning more towards keeping mine. But really like the white and cement Pro's.

Keep your red one. You would lose money on your suspension. And if you did take it off why buy a pro if you’re gonna swap out for a new suspension anyways.

I wouldnt swap suspension if i bought the PRO. I'd prob put my uca's on the Pro, but prob sell the rest of the stuff.

That’s what I mean. You would lose money selling it. I just did the same thing basically but mine was a Toyota buyback. I took off all my icon stuff, wheels/tires and sold it, lost about $1000.

They gave me a good deal on a 2019 TRD Pro. They bought back my 2018 CM platinum with 26k miles on it. I didn’t want to go all out again. Pro suspension is great. So I only went with the coachbuilder shims and shackles this time. I’ll throw some bora spacers on with 295/70/18’s. I like the pro wheels.

    DONT DO IT!

Your limited truck is a step above since TRD Pro trucks are based off of SR5 Trim. Buy after market coil overs from ADS, King, Fox, Icon instead.

I'd keep yours, it's newer, less mileage, original owner and you know about any issues (which I doubt). Good luck with your decision.

White and Barcelona Red are my two favorite colors. But here’s my breakdown:

Barcelona red > super white (just barely though)
Limited > TRD Pro (sr5 with upgraded suspension and bed stamp)

Your truck looks awesome and you know it’s history. Who knows how the previous owner treated the Pro. That’s a gamble I wouldn’t be willing to take.

I decided to keep mine. They came down on price on the PRO over $2k, but then gave me a shitty offer for mine. It isnt worth it. I told em no thanks. They've called me back twice today but i ignored them.

I own a 17 Pro and love it, but I would keep your truck and continue to modify it. You can put color matching parts and install a Pro grill for much less then buying a Pro. Unless you want bed stamp keep your truck.
