So Ford has an actual 'comparison' on their website for the F150.

I've been a life-long Ford fan due to being raised on them (learned how to drive on a manual shift 83 F250, owned 5 mid-70s models) but I've owned a Tundra since 2015. I don't see how I could ever go back to a Ford unless it's an F250, and even then I wouldn't get rid of my Tundra.

I find it interesting how they tout Ford specs but don't list any actual Tundra numbers.

During the ad it talks about a feature that helps back up a trailer. So I found a video to go into detail about it because it sounded cool.. no they found a way to make backing up a trailer harder and way more complex than it should be. Only person that's assisting is the person who sells trailers for when I back it into a wall. But the feature does "sound cool" I'll give them that

Haha I see you just wasted 5 min of your life researching the "pro trailer assist" or whatever they call it to make it sound fast. I would like to see how it works when someone puts bigger tires and different offset wheels so they no longer have stock turning radius. Boat...Dock!:bananadead:

I think if you suck that badly at backing trailers up get someone else to do it for you. I also feel the same about parking sensors, lane change (beep) warnings, etc. They're literally trying to make vehicles idiot-proof and it's annoying since there'll come a day when you can't buy them w/o all that crap.

I think Ford and Toyota are the only 1/2 ton trucks available with 4 doors and an 8 foot bed. Ram and Chevy(with 2020 models) you need a 3/4 ton to get that 4 door /8 foot bed configuration. Nissan has it not at all. Really makes for a 2 horse race for people like myself. The Toyota was actually much more affordable when I shopped the 2, so that was also a consideration.

What's interesting when you look at the specs they're comparing a DC 8Ft bed Tundra to a RC 8Ft bed F150. They also spout about trailer towing in the pictures but then in the specs between the two show the Tundra with a higher towing capacity.
