driving by the tire store just now. Discount tire had 275/70/18 for $220 each.

I bit. They said that was as big as they would go for full functionality. Wondering if that’s what they said as they don’t have 285’s. Will these be a large enough change to fill the wheel wells? I have a 30 day return option.

I also bought wheel locks. Just trying to prevent someone taking the BBS rims.

I also need to sell my stock tires. They have 1100 miles on them. Anyone know the best place to sell them around Houston?

    Thanks in advance.

You could go bigger if you want. That size is just a little taller than stock, it fits great on all stock tundras

For some reason, 275/70 bfg’s are way way cheaper than the next size up. I noticed this when shopping for bfgs last round

I have 275 70 18 and I like them. They're pretty close to the stock size so the I can keep the stock spare, and don't take too much of a hit MPG wise. I'm happy I went with them. Discount Tire matched a price online, and bought the stock tires for $400 so I was happy with that.

I was $1217 out the door with road hazard etc. they offered me $30 each for the takeoffs. Had 1000 miles.
So I kept them to sell. I’m happy with the size, as I didn’t want to bind anything when off-road. They were $100 cheaper than the next size up for some reason.

Thanks for all of the info. I am happy with the way they fit and ride.

I ran 285’s and they worked/fit well. Then I upgraded to 295’s and they were literally like 1mm from the UCA’s, so I got black rhino arsenal wheels that had a good offset. Looks much better. The TRD Pro wheels are +60 and really sucked in.

    Hope this helps

I run the 285/75/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, had a slight rub on the front mudflap, easy fix!! To remove, grab your wrench (think it was an 8mm) and remove the two screws on each flap and presto, no rub
