    Hi all-as a relative newb to the offroading world, I thought this would be a good place to ask if any of you pros/experts know if there are any 4x4 training courses or classes that one could take to learn the basics up to some of the more technical stuff. I know that it's probably just a matter of diving into the deep end and experiencing and learning on your own, but I also feel that any knowledge or tricks of the trade could be extremely beneficial. Anyway, curious to hear what you all have to say. TIA.

    I don’t know of any driving courses but there are tons of videos out there of people making mistakes and also many videos of people showing you how it’s done. Also where are you from? We have get-togethers and take trips with other locals. Some experienced some inexperienced. We welcome the Nubes and some of the more experienced guys can lead the way teaching you as you go. Kind of like follow the leader. It’s always best to go with a group anyways.

    I don't have any first hand experience with that school, just found them a while ago through a search. Looks like they are booked for the rest of 2019, so you should just look out for the next NorCal meetup. Like Warren said, people are already looking to get together at Hollister.
