I replaced the battery two months ago ( old one was bad), stopped buy auto zone yesterday and the new battery and alt. shows good. Its random but in the last two weeks when I turn the switch to start it will just click click click click click click. After a few times of this then turn the key again it will start as normal.
I know it's gonna be a bitch but this weekend looks to be the starter replacement hell for me unless I find some other issue beforehand lol
My batt terminals are clean with dielectic grease from the start. I haven't done any troubleshooting yet but from reading several threads it looks like my turn :annoyed:

Yep....that sounds like the same thing that was going on with my 2001. Ended up replacing the starter with my mechanic buddy at 280,000 miles. I wish you luck my friend. Keep some cold ones near by.

I'm pretty sure it was my ignition staying in acc that was draining my battery and I jumped to the conclusion it was my starter.
