2019 TRD sport build

Hi guys! Finally got time to take some pics for my truck today. Most of the mods are installed, so I think it's time to post a build thread.

2019 Toyota Tundra SR5 Crewmax TRD Sport 4X4 MGM
- Factory equipped: SR5 upgrade pack, spray-on bedliner, black tube steps, black TUNDRA tailgate insert, TRD skid, TRD dual performance exhaust

Current mods:
- Bilstein 6112/5160 (6112 set @ 1.9")
- Toytec 1" rear block w/ u-bolts
- BFG T/A KO2 285/60 R20
- ICON alpha 20x9 +16mm
- Bushwacker rivet fender flares
- Winjet blackout tail lights
- OEM color-matched door handles
- GoRhino BR5 front bumper w/ Rigid light pods
- GoRhino BR20 rear bumper w/ Rigid light pods
- TRD cold air intake
- TRD Pro grille
- TRD black rear badge
- GoRhino Sport bar 2.0

In the future:
- Black oak LED 40" double row light bar
- 3rd brake light black out
- TRD brake pads
- TRD oil filter
- tonneau cover
- Katzkin leather seats


Here's how the truck sit right now. Really pleased with the suspension set up.

For the rear I got black out Winjet lights and GoRhino bumpers with two Rigid pods in there











Some problems:
- The rear-left fender flare seems a little bit loose. Need to find a way to tighten it


- Got the GoRhino sport bar 2.0 which looks awesome. However this is a universal fit so the fitment is ridiculously hard. It also requires to drill holes over the side of the bed which makes me reluctant to do it. I do have a 40" light bar that's supposed to be installed at the top of the bar. Trying to find an alternative way to mount the light bar so I can return the sport bar.

btw I'm selling my oem wheels & tires (275/55 R20) and front&rear shocks. Only 1000 miles on them. HMU if interested.

Thx for the love bro! Had a hard time picking between this one and the Fab Fours Vengeance. Went with Go Rhino because imo the rear bumper looks better than the Fab Fours one

 

Installed GoRhino sport bar 2.0 today. Took it to professional installation. They did a perfect job. The fitment and alignment were really difficult. Glad it all worked out. It looks absolutely amazing. Gonna get the light bar installed next week.

Are those tail lights plug and go?? I looked on the site but really can’t tell? I’m thinking they are?? Also can you post a picture of the Cold Air intake because as of a couple weeks ago there was nothing available yet because of the FFV, according to TRD. I could not find anything TRD fit the mod for the cold air intake. TRD guy told me it would be awhile because they still hadn’t had permission because of the Flex fuel?. Thanks. Good looking rig!!! Have you had any troubles with the tail lights?

I posted a thread about these tail lights. Tbh I don't recommend them. Yeah it's plug and play, but the instruction provided by Winjet is totally useless. I believe 2019 models have a newer setup for the tail lights that requires you to reuse the bulbs while installing a new tail light. The wiring isn't hard at all, but the fitment is absolutely horrible. It takes forever to aim the holes for the lights and the ones on the truck. I returned the first set because the clips with holes on the lights were eventually damaged. It took me a long time to install it successfully, and I used a lot of tools, including wrench, screwdriver, and even drill.
For the intake, I got it from Toyota of cool springs @Roman Perfect fit and incredible look. Love it a lot!

i eyeballed that sports bar for a hot second. Ended going a different direction, but still really like it. Did you opt in for the light bar that moves up and down? Also I’m like you on that vengeance rear bumper and the go rhino rear. I went back and forth on getting the vengeance front and go rhino rear lol. Great minds I suppose!
