Do dealers offer deals on the TRD Pro's that are still sitting on the lot when the new 2020's come out. What happens to the last year's model if they do not sell? I am in the market for a 19 TRD PRO White and can wait another month or two if that means securing a better deal.

Probably not going to find a deal just by waiting a few more months. Dealers are only allocated a certain number of Pro’s, so even when the new ones come out the previous year model will still be more valuable to them than 95% of the other vehicles on the lot because they know they can get MSRP or higher. Some of the lower trim models sure, but definitely not the Pro.

But you have an 18! Why not just keep the 18 cement and enjoy the no payment life.

My little brother is turning 16 so I'm working out a deal with my parents where they can buy mine and I'll just go ahead and get a new one. My whole family drives Tundras.

A 16 year old with a 2018 Tundra as first vehicle? Do your parents want to adopt a 28 year old?

No dealer wants a vehicle to have a birthday on their lot. Wait til the last week in August and you can really work a deal

That's my plan. Gonna head up there at the end of August and see what they can do. Was wondering if anyone in the community had a successful experience doing this.

When I bought mine the dealers were sticking to MSRP on Pros. I told one to pound sand. Dealer I bought my Tundra from had a cement but sales lady knew I was wanting white so she did not try too hard to sell it to me. Summer of 2017 was different because by August everyone knew there would be no Pros for at least a year. I have heard that dealers are discounting right now.

Personally if you find a Pro you want i would just be inclined to buy it now. Whose to say it will be there in a month or two. They are generally gone relatively quickly at my dealer and they likely wouldn’t be getting any more 19 Pros in at this point that aren’t already on the lot.

If the next gen Tundra (2021) comes out next summer and you really want a 2020 trdPro, (LIKE ME!) I'd wait to buy the 2020 model next year around this time. Everyone will have their attention on the new gen that any 2020 trdpros left on the lot will be more likely to get discounted-keyword: likely. That's the route I plan to take, regardless if a discount is applied or not. Not interested in the new gen at all. What do yall think?

I just bought a 2019 Pro and got roughly $4000 off msrp. Yet another dealership I tried would only do $500 below msrp.
Toyota is taking deposits on 2020's in Canada now so I'm sure we will be able to do so here soon too.
I decided not to wait for the 2020 because the 2019 has everything I was looking for.
