Sorry for the noob question but we all have to start somewhere. For LED headlights/fog lights is it as simple buying LED bulbs and replacing the halogen? For the tail lights do I need to hook something for the turn signal to avoid hyper flash? I have a 2005 DC

Best answer I can give is maybe. You might have to install a resistor for your LED headlights to work. You'll know this when you install your LED's. I have heard of Tundras from 00-06 needing resistors and others don't need them. Not certain of the coloration, so I would say buy the LED's and see what happens. My 2000 needed a resistor.

You'll know you need resistors after you install the LED's because the highbeams will always be on and the fogs will turn off if memory serves. So on the dash the highbeams indicator will be on. Basically if you install them and your fogs work fine and the headlights go from low beam to high beam as they should, you don't have any issues.

@Professional Hand Model loves the Katana's LED's he got for his headlights ($50 on Amazon)

I have also heard good reviews of the Auxbeam's and the Beamtech's on amazon. The Katanas have a fan that runs while the other two have heat dissipating fins that help to cool them down. Less moving parts but possibly not as good at cooling? That's something for you to decide

Hope this lengthy reply helps you out in some way!

***Edit - And you can install a relay that goes in your fuse box to fix the hyperflash for your LED turn signals and such. That's an easy one!
