    Hello All,

Coming over from a 2014 4runner and just purchased a 2019 tundra trd off road in cement. Absolutely love the truck (but not the payment!!!). I have already done a few minor mods - I put on the AVS bug deflector, window vent visors and plasti-dipped the front grill black (I really don't like chrome). Eventually will look for a color matched grill. Also, I located the undercover flex tonneau cover on craigslist for $200. I like that one as it is one of the only ones made that can be driven in the upright position. Waiting on the arrival of my running boards to make it easier for the wife and kids to get into the truck.

My only real complaints so far are the lack of storage options, lack of a bedliner and the infotainment. I ordered the ESP under seat storage bin. And the fact that you can pay this much for a truck and not have a bedliner is borderline laughable to me. Should be standard in my opinion. I will most likely Line-X it when the time comes. Eventually, I will replace the head unit with a more user friendly and versatile stereo.

Anyways, I got a lot of good information and help (and hopefully provided some as well) on the 4runner forum so figured I would join the community here as well.

    Take Care,
    Shawn

Bed liner is an option. I would say most trucks in Texas have it. Mine did not but I had dealer do it before I took delivery. Price was better than I could have got it done for. So I don't understand the bed liner complaint. Is it standard on others?

I simply think that every truck in existence should come with a bedliner.....people buy trucks to use the beds and one without a liner is asking for problems.

I would like to see a poll on that one. It is like saying people buy 4x4s to take them off the pavement. I would be willing to bet in DFW there are many trucks that never see anything of consequence in the bed just like the 4x4s that never see dirt.
