Help with OEM stereo.

    This is going to sound silly and probably a very easy question for someone to answer. But how can I tell if my factory stereo has an amp or not. It is not the jbl one. But I am wanting to upgrade my stereo but need to know what I have so I can move on from there.

    Look under the front passenger seat. You should have an amp. BTW, if you have an amp, it will power the door speakers. The HU powers the dash speakers.

    Check out a company called *********. They sell a replacement amp that is plug and play. Just replacing that amp will make a world of difference.
