Depends on what you are trading in, and what they offered for it

Depends on what the trade is. Im guessing around 10k(not sure if that good for your 09) so its about 51k total. Its a deal you should feel ok in passing up if thats what you decide. I would say not good or bad. More middle of the road. Try and get in the high 40s before trade in if you can.

I wouldnt lose any sleep on that deal. Now you just have to decide if its what you want to do. If you wait till the 2020 hits the lots a better deal might be had. Youre in the perfect spot all things considered.

Ask more for your trade, especially if that is the first offer on trade in. I would ask for another 1K

I looked at both the Sport and the Platinum also. The leather on the Platinum was the deal breaker for me so I went with the Sport. Everything else is about the same or close enough to where I am not missing anything. Climate control would be the only item that I wish I had.

I went from an OR to the Pro, and then ended up with the Platinum.

Love it, and here's how it stands today.

Now get that quote on paper, find another Toyota dealership in your area that has a similar Platinum, and tell them to beat that price.
Then.... get that quote on paper, go back to the original dealership, and get them to beat that price from the second dealer.
Rinse and Repeat. That's what I did with 3 different dealers.

I’d take that deal for the platinum. You’ll be sitting nice on value, but I’d still ask for lower price and when they say no ask about for a spray in liner or other extra and hinge the deal on those.

Have read some reviews regarding quality/durability of leather in the platinum, should this be a concern the wear ability of the leather.

The leather quality is much better in the platinum. I have 38k miles on mine, which is a daily driver and i have a 7 year old and my leather is in great shape. The 1794s have issues with the suede frfrofrfrom what I have read

I was going to get a trd pro but no incentives and discounts I went with the platinum love it just wish I got the TRD Exhaust system i cant believe how much I miss it... your getting a good deal at 41k OTD
mine was less than 46k OTD here in Ohio and it was the cheapest I could find... I'd go with the platinum

I would get the Sport just because I don't like leather, but if you do like it, the extra $4k for leather, climate control, more electric seat adjustment and memory, including passenger side etc.... might be worth it.

Yes. The seats have a bottom recline position just like a recliner at home that supports your calves so your knees aren’t supporting them like a sucker. Lexus grade leather is nice too.

    Dealer cash back is $3000.00
    Dealer A:
    TRD Sport 4 x 4 CM Dealer Price $46,038.28 MSRP $49,052
Trade Value: $8,500 Total with dealer cash + trade in $15,114
    OTD: $36,911
At this price might as well go for platinum just my 2 cents here.

Platinum 4 x 4 MSRP: $52,943 No Running Boards, No Moon Roof, Spray In Bed Liner, Window Tint I prefer no moon roof and running boards.
Trade in value $8,500 Total with dealer cash + trade in $15,165
    OTD : $40,994.00

MSRP 52,943 ( 200$) mark up here most likely for the basic shitty tints
    - to get better tints You'll have to pay to remove these shitty tints.

    - subtract 1,195.00 no boards/sunroof -

    - You said spray in bed liner is that aftermarket or on port installation
The difference can be noted by the word “TUNDRA” embedded and sprayed by Toyota at the rear wall bed.
Aftermarket spraying will not have that.
Difference in quality can be debated but I would want to know what they’re claiming it to be.

    - - trade in value 8500
    - - dealer cash back 3000.00
    = 11,500

    Difference is 15,165 - 11,500= $ 3,665
    Dealer discount.

    52,943 msrp
    - 1,195 board / sunroof
    - 3000.00 Toyota incentive cash back
    - 15,164. Trade + dealer discount
    = 33,584
    + % tax
    = OTD

    Dealer B:
    TRD Sport 4 x 4 CM MSRP: $48,300
    OTD: $36,975
Nope because I like platinums better

    Platinum 4 x 4 MSRP: $53,667 Running Boards/Moon Roof, No Bed Liner
    Trade In $7,000
    Dealer Cash $8,500
    OTD Price: $41,773
    I’d pass on this deal

I didn't think it was, I went with the Limited as a happy middle of the road and have not regretted my choice.
