    Hey all! I've been watching these threads for quite some time and I've been a tundra owner for almost 6 years now. It all started with a 4 cyl bare bones single cab manual trans Tacoma in 2012. I've since traded that in for a 2015 4.6 Black Tundra which I owned for 2 years and then another upgrade to a 2017 5.7 TRD Off Road. I've always envied all of you with your sick mods from a distance but I finally decided to join the crew and see what happens. I am from the Attica NY area but I tell people Buffalo because that's the closest major city. I will post more pictures once I do my wash N wax and I look forward to actually being able to interact on these threads finally!

    This may be the beginning of a new obsession (and an expense I don't need!)

    Any information or suggestions for a newbie here is greatly appreciated. Constructive criticism is welcome!

    ^^This^^... When I bought my 2017 SR5 2 years ago, I told myself that I would leave it stock. "I'm in my mid forties now. I got all that out of my system when I was younger" I reasoned with myself. It worked for a while, but I can't continue to look at those factory steel wheels with 255/70R18 Michelins and pretend that it's okay. I bought a set of SCS Ray 10 wheels and as soon as the Michelins are worn out I'll be putting Bilstein 5100s or 6112s on and wrapping those Ray 10s in Ridge Grapplers 285/70R18.

    Anyway, welcome from Western Massachusetts. Nice truck. I'm sure it will be even nicer when you get done with it.

    @SunTundra413 I like your style and I completely understand. I'm ok with my factory wheels. They are not just plain alloy and that's one of the reasons I chose this truck off the lot. That and it came with the side steps as well. I think my first mods will be headlights/taillights/fog lamps. Something a little more edgy that screams "get out of my way" when I'm behind that person on the highway doing 65mph in the fast lane in a 65mph speed limit!
