So after bitching about the heat, i still went out and mowed the lawn and did all the trimming. Found a ground bee nest on the back edge of the lawn, don't know how I didn't get stung. Just finished up and the neighbor that has a Gen 2 came over to check out the new bumpershells and offered me a beer and the use of his pool. Grabbed the kids and proceeded to take over his pool for a couple hours. Now for a couple more beers and a pizza

Im stuck in this 95 degree factory for the next 4 hours so drink a couple for me too

 

Single guy, retired police officer. He opens the pool every year but never uses it. He has offered me a key to the gate so we can use it when we want, but I feel awkward taking him up in it.

He and i also hit the range together when our schedules allow. He enjoys going with me because I have more than he does.

 

No not really! But the look on her face was priceless.. Once I told her that she held the money by the very corner like it had the plague.

That’s my plan for tomorrow. I went ahead and started on the beer a bit early.

 

I made a cup holder on my tractor for this specific purpose.

 

Drinking and mowing is so relaxing, nice breeze, bright sun, cold beer and some good tunes on the headphones and you'll have yourself a grand ol time. but your yard doesn't look that big so it would be pretty short lived. it takes me about an hour and a half to mow my back yard and about 45 minutes on the front so the beer and music is much needed

 

I hear ya. That’s my decompress time every week. Takes about an hour and half and all I have to do is drive a straightish line.

If I was ever to move somewhere else I'd need a lawn at least as big as the current one. and the house has to further than 200ft from the neighbor. I don't know how people can live in suburbs

 

This is our property. goes about a hundred feet into the woods and honestly as long as whatever house I move into has a relatively similar layout to this I'll be fine
