My rear is about .25" lower than my front currently, so I'm either going with 1" or 1.5" shackles to make up the difference. I've been back and forth but right now leaning towards the 1.5". I like the level look, so not trying to restore the rake, but don't want to look nose high for the eye test. Don't really haul or load down the bed so mostly cosmetic.

Just wondering what others who have basically 3" up front, how much higher in the rear.

    TIA

I have 2 inches in front and coachbuilder plus 2’s in the back. It has just a slight amount of rake. Seems like everyone gets slightly different results. These are supposed to give about an inch and a quarter of lift. I think I got 1 inch. It doesn’t look like it has too much rake at all. I would imagine the +3’s might be about perfect for your 3 inches of lift in the front. If you go with the adjustable Toyo Tech shackles you can set them in the middle and see if you like it and always go from there.

yeah, that would be the perfect option but having some fabricated so won't have the option of trying on the 1" and 1.5" hole. Guess I could do 1.25 and split the difference!

I highly suggest upgrading the bushings in the leaf eyelets if you weren’t already doing that. That made such a huge difference in the ride quality. The stock bushings have splines which bind up the shackle limiting its articulation. Some new polyurethanes really made the ride that much better.

Pretty much everything I've seen as of late says the same thing. Also, seems like everyone has had more than their share of trouble replacing. Did you order the bushings with the shackles or somewhere else?

Mine came out really easy. I lube them up for a couple days with PB blaster before hand. Then rented a free ball joint press from O’Reillys and they popped right out. The ball joint press was a little short of pushing them out all the way, but I was able to tap them out the rest of the way with a punch. Another guy said he used a holesaw to cut the rubber out, then a saws all to cut the sleeve inside the bushing. One guy had to use fire LOL. A few people have made their own out of all thread and a large coupling with a plug and a hole drilled through the middle of it. Add some nuts and washers and you’ve got your own press.

Here is mine with slightly over 3 inches in the front and Toytec shackles set at 1.5 inches is the rear. There is still a little rake with I wanted because of the TSS and I tow from time to time. Hope this helps.

That is a good look. Any idea on the difference between the front and rear?
    Thanks.

I can't see any rake at all. Hopefully I will be able to order my Boss kit and shackles soon.

@LiftMeUp I’m at 25.5 inches in the front and 26.5 in the rear. That was measured from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender. So I think a 1 inch shackle would be what you are looking for. That would give you approximately 1/2 inch of rake. The Toytec shackles are adjustable and have 1 inch and 1.5 inch settings.

Thanks a bunch for the measurements! So you're running about an inch rake and really can't tell from the pic. Looks good!! Thanks again.
