Hey! My 2018 limited with 6500 miles, seems to be blowing a puff of smoke on startup. Any thoughts about this ? I know old school says not good. Thanks

It’s normal. Every Tundra does this. It’s just water vapor.

I finally ordered a hitch cover. It's kinda cheap feeling and flimsy, but as long as it looks nice that's all that matters for this.

This is why in about 6 months I'm outta here!

I feel for you. I can't wait to leave myself. Hopefully 3 more years I'm gone. Are you retired or retiring MOS?
Keep checking Craigslist in CT and Mass, there is a place that parts them out when they are totalled.

What do you think of the hood light bar so far? Is it worth the cash and do you like the fit and finish as well as the brightness? Thinking of this for my next mod.

Correct. I really don’t mess with it when I’m driving but it’s super convenient for my wife to be able to enter a destination while we’re driving.

hey snowcat, the fit/finish/wiring is really nice! looks like it's factory, as far as the brightness....i've only seen it on in the daytime right after install. I'll post up some photos next week of night time shots, i think it's going to work out great for me.

Installed pro fogs, installed LEDs inside (although 3 of the 4 vanity bulbs from HR did not work), upgrade the reverse lights to LED as well. Then full detail/paint correction and Chemical Guys Carbon Flex c9 on the paint (for the truck, cap was a no go - test spot showed a problem). Next up is 2 coats of glaze, 3-4 coats of Jet Seal, then wax.

Installed FRAC harness and Natika camera. Extended the wiring from the harness for some additional reach and used a front/back camera switch from Air On Board. Wanted the switches more visible and within easy reach as I drove.

Good idea with the switch. Did you get the switch direct from air on boards web site?

When I was detailing my sons 2013 Platinum a few weeks back, I noticed the trim piece of the parking sensor was cracked and stuck out a little, I tapped its with my hand and the whole thing popped into the bumper. With the sonar on, the thing just squealed constantly, so I had to turn it off. My son brought it into the dealership to see if they could take care of it quickly, but nope, had to make an appointment. They said it may have to be recalibrated, too. Yeah, more money. My son made it for a Saturday AM, but was going away the night before so we switched trucks. I brought it in and after an hour and half at the dealership, the rep comes over and tells me, we don't have the part, so we'll call you when it comes in. Um, you wasted my time, dude. Haven't heard from them either.

I shot Roman an email to get the part number and ordered the part just came today and I crawled underneath after dinner, pulled off the cover in the wheel well to get to it, attached the trim piece and popped it in place. Took about 15 minutes and less than 20.00. It's working fine.

I just bought a strip of LEDs off of Amazon and the easy connectors. I already had hot glue, wire loom and everything else needed.

For some reason the app isn't letting me share. It's a 16.4 ft roll of SMD LEDs. Easy find.
