Ringing sound

2007 Toyota Tundra

There is an annoying constant ringing sound coming from the dash that only goes away when I shut off the engine with the key and open the door. When I start the engine back up there is the ringing...sometimes it will go away for a few minutes and then come back. Any help on this would greatly be appreciated. Thank you
