Have been tempted to trade in my 2009 Tundra SR5 2WD DC 4.6L with 162,000 miles for a 2019 Tundra. No reason except idea of getting a new tundra. Only issue that needs to be addressed is hood that clear coat is fading. Took to a few local paint shops and estimates to repair range from $650-$800. Would need to be stripped, repainted and new clear coat. Would include repair a couple of small dings and chips.
Trade in value from dealerships range from $7,000-$9,000. Gut feeling, hard to part ways with this truck for that trade in value. I am meticulous with maintenance and feel I could still get another 150,000 miles form this truck. But the 2019 Platinum Tundra Crew max sure is tempting. Maybe should keep the 2009 for a few more years and see what 2022 looks like for the Tundra next gen. Thoughts?

Can get a 2019 Platinum Crewmax 4 x 4 for $37,550 before tax and title.
