Shock/suspension question

    This may have been asked before and may be a stupid question, but here it goes.
    I have a 2018 1794. Great ride, but it seems the handling is .... somewhat loose.
    Other than the obvious of installing aftermarket lifts, or shocks to stiffen the ride, what else could one expect from a shock upgrade (front and rear)?

    Trd sways, bullydog, magnaflow, sumo springs
    We have very heavy trucks with soft shocks. Thats why they ride so nice in a straight line but corner like the marshmallow man.

    A stiff shock fixes the handling but kills your straight line caddy ride.

    Sounds like you might like trd sway bars front and rear if you want to keep the softer ride

    I put a TRD sway bar on the back end, kept the stock sway bar on the front, and it make a very noticeable difference. Sway bars are probably not what you want for serious off-roading, but for road driving I can highly recommend them. Now it feels like the rear end is planted on the pavement even if going too fast for the corner.

    Add a rear sway bar as previously mentioned, then drive around a bit with the original shocks and decide if they need changing after racking up a few miles with the rear sway bar.
