    Hello all,
I just completed a front crankshaft seal replacement. Because I had to take off the all the accessories I change bolt belts and the water pump. Once I put everything back together and fired it up I got a P0018 code. I then took it back apart and checked the timing lines were correct and put everything back together. Fired it up and get the CEL again. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

    Does the engine run smoothly?

If you verified you're not a tooth off, I'd probably look in the FSM to see if there is a method of testing the crank and/or cam position sensor. Might be easier to test from the ECU location.
