Hello, I’m a new member to this forum. I don’t have a Tundra yet. Am still saving my money to get one. Am probably about a year away from it. Am still kinda considering a F150 or a Tacoma. Sure wish the Tundras got better gas mileage. I don’t plan to tow anything, and would get a 4x4, probably a SR5. Am kinda hung up on wanting the Quicksand color. Anyway am hoping to learn more about Tundras from this forum.

Welcome! I love my Tundras gas mileage so not sure why gas mileage would be a deterrent for you in purchasing a Tundra. I actually am getting better gas mileage in my Tundra than I was in my Tacoma.

Welcome. If you want reliability, then go with a Toyota. Most of us on here had Tacos and opted for the bigger size Tundra for a lot of reasons.

Welcome from CO. Keep in mind stated gas mileage for the big 3 trucks is a bit exaggerated....and Fords run hot........................ upload_2019-6-29_10-10-44.jpg

Welcome from Western NC. You can't go wrong with a Tundra. I had an 05 double cab with the 4.7 for 13 years.

    Just remember, Chevy has

    Seger_main_750-750x500.jpg

    Ford has

    denis_leary.jpg

    And Toyota has

    787a6481d916d482160b638d2a8630c3--modern-family-toyota.jpg

It was an easy choice for me.

I’m sold. Any gas truck runs between 15-18ish. On second Tundra and hands down holds its value and its a beast on towing. Also has more room. Welcome from South Texas. Good luck.
