If I remove the fender flares from 2017 XSP, will I have 8 holes in the body? Just trying to see what it would look like with them removed.

Are they the smooth or rivet pocket style?

Thanks guess I'll give it a shot tomorrow. I would leave them if I had a lift and bigger tires but thats another topic that confuses the hell out of me.

I recommend taking the flares off every yr any way water can get trapped in there so I would do a rust check. At least once a yr.

You won't have holes in the body, but after 2 years of them being on, you'll probably have rub marks where the fender gasket touches the paint. I think it looks good with them on. I was trying to get your version (black XSP) before my wife and I agreed our MGM TRD Sport.

While you shouldn't have any holes in the body (screws s/b in the wheel well liner), what you're likely to see is a nice ol' rub line where they were seated against the fender body. Had some on my previous truck for about 2 years and upon removal there was a rub line, but not as noticeable as it was a white truck.

I can't tell how wide your flares are from that picture. The spacers will bump the tires out by 1.25".
