    Hi
Has anyone had any luck getting the frame replaced on a 2006 DC? I'm being told by Toyota that 2006's were not included. I have access to one that the frame is rotted out badly and Toyota will not do anything about it. A 13 year old truck is basically scrap metal!!!
    Thanks
    Hoss

Tried Bobby Rahal Toyota and the National Toyota number and basically got the same answer. I asked how they are still replacing frames on some older and some newer models but not the 06 and they said that the inspection and replacement or coating expired in 2015 for the 06's. I also asked why there were many 20+ year old fords and chevys out there that the frames were not rotted out on and they couldn't answer that either. 13 years for a vehicle should be nothing to obtain nowadays.

This is a bummer man. Good news is the existing Tundras with good frames should increase in value due to rarity. Also, it doesn’t sound like you own this 2006 but have access and can pass on it.
