I've got a 16 CM w/55k miles and today driving to work I cut the headlights on and everything went black - radio, dash lights, etc. Not a second later, all of the electronics powered back on and all of the initial dash lights illuminated like I had just started the car.

When I got to work, I went to lock the truck and my key fob wouldn't work. I figured the two were related so I went to lock the truck manually with the lock button on the door and it didn't work. I then tried to turn the lights on - no power. I tried to then turn on the truck - no power.

I tried a couple more times and the truck eventually cut on.

Anyone had similar problems? I am hoping a fuse went bad. I will look when I get home but was curious if anyone has had something similar happen.

Ok, I’m a very basic guy, and for that reason, I’d suggest checking to make sure you have a good connection on the battery.

Bad battery. Heat kills batteries. Your battery is about 3+ years old. My FOB/alarm acts up right before a battery giving up the ghost.
