Have had my 2016 Tundra 1794 Edition 4x4 over a year now. Great truck. Really enjoy making it better than the bean counters at Toyota allow. I'd definitely buy it again. Not one problem beside dealer service department hacks. Wife wants one to replace her Avalon...

So far I've added the following TRD parts: Intake, Skid Plate and Dual Exhaust.
I've done some electrical mods for the anytime rear view camera, and Nav unlock while moving, added some interior leds for more light in console and dash.
I've replaced the headlights and fog lights with higher wattage bulbs from Headlight Revolution.

Looking forward to finding better mods here. Already ordered new puddle lights.

Looking for a Kayak(2) Rack to fit around my Tonneau Pro Tri Fold Cover. I've been looking at aluminum materials to make a custom fit mount. This will probably take a while to get done. Want to be able to go camping with Kayaks using the bed for gear with tonneau cover in place.

    Thought I'd say hey!

    The Dude

Welcome dude. I'm thinking about the nav unlock. Was it difficult? And you had to connect to a switch, right?

Nav Unlock is done on the back of the head unit, installing two wires to a new switch. It interrupts the speed input to the NAV unit as long as the switch is flipped. So you get full function of the NAV / Phone. Tundratalk.com has a write up on this. Not too hard to do but you have to pull the head unit out to get to the wiring.

Vision X Halogen Bulbs, however the ones I bought are no longer available. Mine are 95/100 Watt bulbs, looks like all they have now are 55 Watt bulbs.

thats the best color for the 1794 imo Toyota should have only made it in that color to keep its originality
make it more a one of a kind
