Tundra newbie from Alabama

    I’ve done zero mods. But I think it came from the factory with something done. That’s part of the reason I’m joining this forum. Want to learn more about my truck.
    Hello everyone. I’m a long time fan of the big bad tundra. Until recently I’ve not been able to afford one. While the wait was long, my patience paid off and I bought a used 2013 Tundra TSS w/ 20” BF Good. A/T’s. I am not at all knowledgeable in vehicles or engines. I was hoping to learn something from some of you guys here on Tundras.com. I’d like to learn a little about my truck and what’s been done to it. I also want to possibly have a new dual exhaust put on the truck as the exhaust was the only thing on my set of “must haves” for a truck when I bought it. I am familiar with the TRD exhaust that Toyota will install from the factory and I really like the sound it makes. But I went to my local Toyota dealer and the price for the parts alone was well more than I’m in a position to want to pay for an exhaust. Does anyone here have any suggestions on some duals for my truck that won’t break the bank? Something that sounds similar to the TRD and would get me some extra performance out of that big 5.7L motor? Any and all suggestions and input would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks for y

    Welcome from Tennessee. The more research you do, you’ll find out that unless you have long tube headers, our exhausts run better off a single pipe exhaust. Duals will cause you to lose low end torque.

    @dirtydeeds is a vendor here who makes the best exhausts for ours tundras. Plus you joined at the perfect time! He has a group buy going on until Saturday which has his budget system (which is a direct bolt on) at like $125 off it’s normal price.
