Hello fellow Tundra enthusiasts! I’m about to purchase a new vehicle and am listing my Tundra for sale. I’m here looking for recommendations on the sale price. It’s an 06’ TRD-Off road V8 access cab with 195k miles. Well maintained, aftermarket stereo. Just a general price range is what I’m looking for. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I figured this is the place where I could get the most informed opinions on my trucks value. Doesn’t mean that I’m not a Tundra lover. I’ve had her for 13 years... If that doesn’t make me an enthusiast I don’t know what does.

I do a dirty Creggsliss browse of all the lying liars selling their trucks to judge my trucks lying value.

To bad its an AC (like mine) and not a DC which fetches phenomenal $$$ for an extra foot of rear cab (and the extra 39.46 horsepower).

I did a quick lookup with the info you provided and guessed what you were missing.

    Trade in value roughly
    Screenshot_20190612-222656.jpg

Dealers would be selling it for around this price, selling yourself would be a tuff sale at this price. I say shoot for 9k but expect 7500-8000 range.

    Some junk
I agree. Then again I couldn't operate in life without a truck or at least an SUV and a trailer. Too much junk to be moved from here to there on a regular basis. Hell, I might actually have to pay someone to trim my trees for the simple fact that I could no longer dispose of all the limbs. Not to mention I'd be screwed anytime I needed to bring home 10' lengths of tubing or similar lengths of lumber for projects.

Good luck op. I'm sure you'll at least love the gas mileage.

    IMO
The 90's and 00's have been some of the best for Japanese brands. There are some seriously well engineered, reliable and unique cars (there are some dogs in there to). But all good things come to end. As the federal regulations continue to change we are seeing manufacturers struggling a bit to keep up and quality is suffering.

But the gadgets inside the cars nowadays are nice

A good point. Another point is the 90’s and 00’s were the last hurrah for the old school Japanese Toy engineers before retiring. They grew up with Bushido Code, then fought in WWII and got their humble pie handed to them.

    W. Edwards Demming helped them tremendously in the 1950’s-60’s which set them in a great trajectory for success in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s.

Most of the WWII engineers/leadership retired in 00’s at around 80 years of age.

    Something I found interesting
Toyota CEO pay after bonus 2.8 million
Ford CEO pay after bonus 17.75 million
GM CEO pay after bonus 21.87 million

The top executive salary in Japan is no where near that of most of the world.
