Juts my 2 cents I went fox cause I’m not a hardcore wheeler and don’t go 80mph on the dirt and with fox I did the 2.5 res up front and 2.0 res rear and it’s amazing the ride is night and day man super happy saved money and got what I wanted. But I did a ton of research and for me fox is 2 hours away and they will rebuild for me and something like icon I would have to ship out. And any time I called and emailed they were so helpful and gave me all the time in the world but I do hear a lot of people talking about king. I was told this much fox, king, ads pick a color and with these shocks you can’t go wrong.

I live by the beach as well. I had fox shocks on my last truck for years. They held up amazing with the salty air. Rest of the truck rusted up but not the shocks

I haven’t purchased a truck or any suspension components yet, but I have called Fox 3 times to ask specific questions while planning my build. Every time I have called they answered and took the time to address my questions. Positive first experience for me and will most likely be purchasing their products when the time comes.

I have owned Icon and Fox (currently Fox). I have also dealt with both Icon and Fox customer service. From my experience, Fox makes a better product and their customer was much easier to work with. Just my experience.

Don't knit pick, you will get multiple differing opinions, get the best shock you can afford, they all do the same thing only difference is build quality and customer service. I have kings 2.5's,over 40k miles with some high speed off-roading no issues and I love the ride. Not sure if Hawaii has shops that can rebuild shocks but you can also rebuild them yourself.

Of the 2, KING 3.0 has been more popular for us in 2019 so far...

I chose Fox 2.5 Race series. I’m in SoCal and have used them for other projects. Never had a bad experience with their customer service.
