I just want to apologize for being slightly absent lately everybody. Been busy at work and just hanging with my girls a little more along with daddy husband duties around the house. Also... naps

I have been trying to read the threads still. Handing out likes to let y’all know I care lol!
At this point I’m spoiled from meeting and hanging out in person, so im really just looking forward to seeing everyone again. I really liked the sense of community we have. Becoming friends here first made it really fun to meet in person and figure out who was who.

Once we are friends, I consider us friends for life. Even if we don’t kick it all the time....or ever, we’ll always be homies.

Life happens Sean, no worries. Family is priority and we get it.
In the meantime I have helped out and dispensed some plumbing advice. Someone had plugged drain and another had a backed up toilet. Told em both to stick a large firecracker down the pipes!! Haven’t heard from em so I’m sure they good to go!! :)

It sounds like this group has their act together. It also sounds like an adult group. I look forward to meeting all of you in San G.
This group is one of the reasons I keep inviting friends to camp and wheel. The bad apples get weeded out and the good people keep coming back. We might be at capacity this year.

    Ok Jake @CaptSpaulding
You evil clown avatar, gentleman, one arm OffRoader.

Who can you introduce me to someone attending San G?

Holy moly, how do I follow these up! @Pinay you make me sound like a scary monster that also cares about stuff (100% accurate). Such kind words, thank you! Tell Lady G I said yo!

I moved in with pops to help with his treatments/surgery/recovery, was stage 4 now cancer free and we're learning to eat and walk again. He's a powerhouse to say the least. I also underwent my 3rd shoulder surgery recently, I'm actually late responding here due a 5 hour drive to see my surgeon (drainage and 4 cortisone shots, 2 in the armpit!! @Pinay and @osidepunker know what I'm talkin about).

There are so many rad members I'd like to introduce you to @blktruck but I'll limit it to one for now..... @15whtrd
His name is Sean, and he's a pure badass, but also a sweetheart at the same time. He's a delight to be around with a wealth of knowledge in just about everything, valuable in any capacity (in person or on here), and has a rad wife who ran/lead a trail with us, and immediately knew who Captain Spaulding was (+1 for that).
Sean lead us on a run from Apple Valley to Big Bear. Perfectly paced, great radio communication and a great driver. He's done cool mods to his truck with more on the way I'm sure. Don't let his stock stance fool you, he tackled some stuff the 35" crew wouldn't hit. Definitely excited to hang out again Sean and share a few beers, and see what else we have in common and how hard we can laugh.
I come from years in the death metal community playing countless shows for @ssholes. It's a great contrast here, It really is a unique group of people, that will help in any way they can. No jerks here, all winners!

So perfectly said Sunny, and it's all the truth! I'm so impressed with how receptive @Pinay is and how quickly she adapts and conquers. She drove like a champ on the runs we've been on, I'm excited to see her updated rig too, with RS securely mounted and working. She literally puts me in a good mood daily, and can U-turn with the best of em

Hey, I'm liking this intronof the Tundras crowd. I'm trying to work out getting intros of the Taco side of the his event. I guess it'd be a lot to ask you and @eccracer to take it on (you can skip introducing Colton  ; that's guy's legendary)... but we need someone to do it!

I’m confused you want me and @eccracer104 to introduce all the Tacos here? Or do you want us to do the same on the TW website?

The problem with having everyone introduce someone on the TacomaWorld Forum is the age demo. They are a younger crowd some of these guys are cool but too cool to give a compliment.

I know 80% of the people going on TW. I can give you a quick intro if you let me know who.

I’m enjoying you guys lift each other up here. I hope we get everyone introduced and we double the amount of tundras that go up next year.

Haha! I guess it won't be good if we invite you guys to the mic and it turns into everyone slagging each other off. Alright, I guess we'll do it this way, lead by example. We do all really get along well, so let's keep doing what we're doing. We do tease though-- it just goes better because we're nice to each other between time.

Man I don’t know how to follow that up. I’m definitely not a bad ass LOL but thank you! I’d say everyone I’ve met from the forum has been the same personality in person as they are online. But even better!

Don’t get your hopes up on me. Jake is too nice. I put on a good show but I’m an idiot! I have the gift of gab and love to talk. I get excited and just want everyone to be happy and have a good time. Lots of great people around here, and Jake is probably my favorite. But another great guy to know is @Porschetech29
My wife described Francis as cross between a ninja and Inspector Gadget. For starters his truck is set up right. The man is a encyclopedia of knowledge. Let’s just say he had a trick up his sleeve for everything. Super helpful and experienced trail leader. But also doesn’t mind running in the pack. He’s always down for a cup of coffee. At first I thought he was chewing tobacco because he always had a coffee cup in his hand. Nope! He just drinks coffee all day. He brings all the equipment to make it within minutes. Super helpful and will practically give you the shirt off his back if you need it. I still haven’t upgraded to some type of onboard air other than a cheap 12 V air compressor. It works but it takes forever. He had no problem offering up his CO2 tank. Two separate trips! He has the proper trick and device for just about anything you might run into.

He has a much more capable rig than I, but he was great at giving advice if someone could tackle it without damaging their truck. He’s also quick to jump out and spot you if you need it. Definitely fun to watch him in action!

Francis also has guts, he knows the capabilities of his truck. I watched him tackle a section of trail that a Taco had a rear tire about 4-5’ off the air. He took it in his big ass tundra, clearing a boulder with his bedside by less than an inch with precision!

Definitely one to roll with. Francis may not want to do an intro of a member as he’s humble. He lets his actions and interactions with people do the talking. D79017BF-16D1-4502-B028-E2EE8EE82913.jpg

    :rofl::rofl:

Yeah, you guys should definitely avoid intros on your side of the Internet. o_O (@Thesandaddict definitely was cannon fodder this time.)

Maybe closer to the event, you could give us a couple lines on each attendee, by camp site: just names/ nick names; what truck (colour; distinguishing mods); and something "fun" about each we can use as an icebreaker and to remember who's who (even if it's just favourite adult beverage; or favourite thing to do when not driving a Taco on dirt... something like that...). Maybe-?
