    Stock for now!!!
I have basically decided on a 3rd gen used tundra......then all of a sudden a very nice 2013 Platnium is for sale with 26K miles and new condition for about 36500.......any suggestions? Is the 3rd gen other than the fuel tank size any different. I do like the dash of the 3rd over the 2nd.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but I'm pretty sure the transfer case is also different. Other than that, the drivetrain is the same.

First, not all 3rd gens have larger tanks. Started in '16. Other slight differences include grille, hood, taillights, fenders, tailgate, and dash.

Seems high. Even for the low mileage.
Not much difference between the 2 generations outside of what has already been mentioned. Try and find a 3rd gen to test drive. Drive both. See which one blows your skirt up the most.
(I did the same thing) b/t a 13 CM and 14 DC. I chose the 14. (also fate confirmed my choice because when I called the dealer he said the '13 sold first thing that morning - lol).

For that price, can you get the same options as the 13 Platinum if you buy a 3rd Gen? Are there features you like better on the 3rd Gen?
I personally like the 2nd Gen body style better and went for that. It boils down to, go with the one you like best.
