    Hello All,
    Bought a new 19 Crew-max 2 weeks ago that has the tailpipe installed about 1.25 inches from the paint of the box. When I get home from work the paint is actually warm from the exhaust.
    Anyway, headed to Dealer Saturday to have it adjusted even with the ground so I can get a TRD Chrome tip on it.
    Two other minor issues; the Bluetooth microphone has penetrated the headliner and the headliner near the rear window is not on parallel to the rear window and appears that it was pulled down on the drivers side.

    That's funny. Yes, I did make sure that mine would not allow any condensation to pool in the tailpipe in the case of short hopping. Seems silly I know. Coincidentally, just the other day I saw a Tundra where the mudflap between the rear tire and the tailpipe had obviously melted from the heat.

    It should be easy to adjust yourself if you want to give it a go. Easiest way would be to stretch the stock hanger or spend a few bucks on Amazon and get a longer/ adjustable one. They are pretty cheap.

    I did mine simply by loosening the rearmost junction and rotated the tailpiece slightly.

    Yep that’s another way to do it. Wasn’t sure how comfortable the OP was wrenching on the exhaust. Although it’s really only a couple bolts.

    I think you are correct, thought about doing myself but just left a 19 Ram with 6 issues and I was forced to document everything to get out of it for $2,000 for the 6,400 miles I put on it in 6 months.
    Hopefully, this will be it for issues on the Yo.

    Curious if the dealership will actually do anything for you? They will gladly take your money to install the exhaust tip but not sure they will “adjust it” of nothing is technically wrong with it. Hopefully you have a good dealer.

    Guys,
    I went in to Toyota service this past Saturday and here is what's up;
    -Advisor stated the exhaust junction is "notched" and doesn't move without "modifying" the tailpipe.
    -Bluetooth microphone pulled through the headliner, they want to order and install a new headliner.
    -The silver color steering wheel plastic "that goes around the steering wheel controls" has a rough edge from the molding process and catches my finger every time I turn the wheel one turn. They want to put on a new silver plastic part.

    One problem; the Service Manager was not in to call Toyota to get the repairs approved so no work was completed and I have to go back in. They probably didn't have the parts anyway I guess. All I really wanted was the tailpipe adjusted so I could put on the chrome tip, I can live with the Bluetooth and can file down the sharp plastic wit ha roto-tool.

    This is something that I did not notice on my truck when it had the stock factory exhaust. This must be a new Toyota innovation. Further investigation is required. Could I request a comment from our famed Tundra exhaust guru, @dirtydeeds ?
