Well, the time came for me to trade in my Tundra. Job change, no more camper or need to tow, long commute, etc., led to the change. I bought a 2019 Subaru Outback 3.6R Touring.

This is a great forum with tons of good info and great members. I hope to find the same in the Subaru community.

    Thanks and take care!

    Mike

PS, I’ll be posting up some take offs in the for sale section soon.

I think Toyota owns like 16% of Subaru, so it could be considered still in the family...

Man that's ugly but it should be super reliable. I had a wrx that ran like a bat out of hell and never had an issue. I abused the crap out of it and it never missed a beat...

good luck with it. i just bought a crosstrek for my wife to replace her 2001 corolla with 150,000 problem free miles. keeping the corolla for now as well. hope our subarus will be the same with reliability.
i dont think i will ever sell my tundras.
good luck with it and subaru has some good chat rooms too. i am on the crosstrek specific chat and lots of info there. make sure your sill plugs were installed after shipping. i assume your car will have them

Good luck! The Subaru community on Nasioc is one of the biggest car communities. There's a lot of subie nuts out there including me since I still own my bugeye WRX after 16 years.

    Question, CVT trans?

Nice car and Subaru is a great quality vehicle. I have driven the 4-cylinder version numerous times (and even a diesel in Germany), I bet that flat-6 scoots.

Just dropping in to say hello. My Subaru’s engine grenaded after 3 months and 5k miles and was in the shop for 35+ days. Subaru deemed it a lemon and bought it back. Thus, my Subaru experiment is over without having to hassle with a trade in. I got back into a Yota - this time a 4Runner. Have always wanted one, so made sure to get exactly what I wanted.

2019 TRD OffRoad Premium. Leather (softex), sunroof, crawl control, x package, which adds pro wheels, steps and pro grill.

The biggest downgrade is the tiny 6” entune head unit. After tinted windows, that will be my first upgrade.

Hope y’all are all well. I signed up on 4Runners.com and look forward to being there, too.

    Mike
