Need help bought after market headers for my 2006 4.7 tundra.
Took the exhaust manifold off that was a pain in its self. So of course this year is different from all other 4.7 and there is some kind of emission tube that connects to the manifold and the headers I bought does not have that. I did find some headers that do have it but I'm kinda stuck with these. Is there a way to plug that system off? Right now my solution is cutting of the pipes off that flange and grinding it flat so my headers will sit flush to it. Any ideas. 15589290339395891748115279720366.jpg

I've actually been wondering about this too. Because the headers without the air injection crap is hundreds of dollars cheaper.

The pump and hose's are mounted to the back side of the motor almost touching the firewall. I can't even see how to get it out of there. If you bypass the system with that Hewitt thingy, you should be able to leave the hoses off to the side. I don't know if the headers from a earlier models would bolt up, that would be a trial & error
