Was driving on i80 from Sacramento to Reno and it's been raining most of the way up, as we approach Donner Pass, rain starts turning to sleet and snow as the temps are dropping. Hardly any freaking street lights so you have to rely on your lights. Well, the snow drifts were coming straight at you while driving, it was hypnotic like you just engaged warp speed but you're only driving at 30 mph. In the mist of that craziness, I see my precollison sensor warning say it's not available and to clear off the sensor! Lol I had just had my truck worked on for the latest recalls. The two things are my lights sucked at that moment as if we were driving with no lights on, fogs were on but didnt help and brights had no effect. I need more lights!! Lol 2nd, recall either needs more work or that's how it works when it gets covered in sleet/snow?! I was so glad to hit dry roads down near Verdi, at that point my lights looked strong again. o_O:confused::p:(

Get some HID's and some Baja designs yellow fog lights, those sob's light up snowy roads like no other.

I can definitely vouch for the TSS problem...any snow or ice buildup, it's a no-go. Happens every time to me

If the sensor is covered by snow or ice it won't function properly, I think that's the same for every manufacturer.
