i recently installed this in my 13 tundra. Does anyone else have this and experience like an air hissing/rattling noise come from glove box (I’m assuming where cabin filter is). If so is there a way to stop it. Only does it when it get on the gas. Sounds like something loose in the glove box. Very annoying

The hissing is like a high pitch right if so. Its the screen in the throttle body thats needs to be remove anytime you add a high flow filter or aftermarket cai it makes a high pitch frequency yes very annoying.

Yes I hear the hissing noise coming from motor that doesn’t bother me so much. Something is making a noise coming from glove box area almost like an air leak coming from glove box. It’s weird hard to describe.

IMO. Cia’s Are a waste of $$. You can achieve the same small results with a k&n or equivalent air filter and the Toyota air accelerator. For a lot less cash. And no whistling.

The best cai is the SABM its cheap and shows some good gains 5hp rear. I gain 1.5mpg and notice the power in the mid range.

Yea SABM or custom one is the best way to go. Because it pulls from two inlets of cold air not hot like some cai. But on titans they have 6in air inlet but they have a silencer which is a tube going in a corner and restricting airflow. But toyota made ours only 3in because of noise reduction but sabm=6in of total air which you do hear alittle at top end past 4000rpms.
