im looking to get a light bar put in the front of my truck. I can't decide whether I want it in the bumper or behind the grille. Is one easier to install then the other? I would think the grille mounted one would provide more usable light being that it sits higher?

You actually have 3 options. You can also go in the hood bulge. The hood bulge and grill locations should be about the same degree of difficulty. Not real sure about the bumper as i did a full bumper swap.

I have both sections, single row just above the license plate area, and by the looks of your avatar pic you have the PRO grille, I have same too, double row light bar, mine sits behind it, I have seen some that cut out that section to make the light bar flush with the grille, so that means cutting out bottom portion of the grille, both fairly easy install

Looks like you have quite the set up for light bars. Ive got the baja squadrons in my fogs and probably will go with a baja bar. Just trying to determine location. Im assuming there is a large difference in quality between baja at about $1000 and something like rough country at around $300?
