Deal on drivers side grab handle?

I just wrote to them and asked if the product is in stock yet, and if so, I would reorder. “Natasia” said they would check and get back to me in 2 days.

 

Got mine Saturday from Mega.. waited a few weeks but worth the money saved... install was a breeze too

 

I'm annoyed too. I ordered on the 11th and have had to ask about the status every time. Poor communication from them.

 

That was fast, delivered today.

 

Did you pay the advertised price on sparks or lower after you called? And they are super fast shipping. Ordered my headlights Sunday and arriving Thursday.

 

When I went to the website there was a special going on. The local dealer here wanted over 170 for the pillar panel alone and for the whole kit at Sparks I think I paid 168 or a bit more for the kit shipped.?

It will be okay. I think the time difference is ~13 hours and even in the U.S.A. tracking information doesn't immediately appear. You've already waited this long, what's a couple more days?

They did take a long time, but I didnt mind waiting for $60 savings. I'm also 6'3" so getting in and out isn't too bad.

 

Yeah, I'm 6'4", but I have 2" level and I know I'm slowly killing the leather sliding in and out.

 

No side steps or anything? On a 6" lift and 6'2"...using the side steps is a saver of the seats.

 

Got my shipment confirmation today also! I wasn't in a hurry but was beginning to wonder what was going on.

2y without, I didn't mind waiting, Megazip told me upfront it might be the end of May and I had the option to cancel. The savings was a lot more than $60 for me, it's a joke locally:



Install was quick, take a pair of strong scissors and cut the hole for the speaker cable, use the old one as a template.



There's an existing bolt behind the old air bag label cover which will now become the handle's bolt, you just need to buy an extra bolt/washer/nut for the other end of the handle (I already had them in my tin can of extras).



The anchor point for the 2nd bolt is already there hidden behind the old trim.

Awesome! Thanks for showing that. I see you added some sound deadening material. Did that make a difference? Did you do the other side too?

 

In another thread, a member was hearing whistling and it was coming from the A pillar. It gave me the idea while I had it apart to stick some deadening down mainly over the holes, it's like a flute in there lol. I didn't bother doing the other side unless I hear a problem. These are the spots I covered:



My wife's really happy, who I installed it for when she drives. I gotta get in the habit of using it, will save the leather seat wear and tear not doing the side shuffle anymore.
