What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I used it.....had it squatted.

 

Finally had time to put these on. Double checked all the bolts from installing 6112 month ago while i was in there.

 

Gave the outside a quick power wash. Rain coming so not gonna spend a lot of time just for mother nature to wash it all away.

Did detail the inside though. The last few camping trips had done a number on it. Sugary goo all over the cup holders and quite a few dirty shoe mud transfers all over. It was nice to get the inside cleaned up.

 

What are these and what do they do?

 

Tires mounted, balanced and installed. I painted the center caps and am waiting for them to dry. Caps will be black and I'm going to try white for the emblems.

First post. Plastidip the grill surround last weekend. De badged the SR5 today and took off TRD decal

Trying to get other badges blacked out today.

 

Caps installed. Not sure if I like the white emblems. I may repaint them black.

 

Added tow mirrors this morning so I can keep an eye on my new 22 foot travel trailer.

 

Do the mirrors have the wiring for the blind spot monitoring ?

 

Yes they do... They also add marker/running lights to the mirrors as well as turn signals. The oem mirrors dont work with the BSM, which is why I went with the Trail Ridge mirrors!

had read about some durability issues with the dual exhaust (after i had already ordered em) so i elected to paint em. used rustoleum auto high heat. we'll see how she goes in the sierra winters

I kind of like the white emblem. I'd go with black lug nuts, though, and keep the white emblem if it were me.

 

Too late. I went with flat black on the emblems. I like it better. I may go with black lugs though, I like that idea.

 

Finished up the Kenwood head unit install with microphone positioned and Apple car play USB run into the center console.

 

Finally gotter worshed up after 2 weekends of trail runnin. No real visible pinstripes. Just a few in the front and the back, but they rubbed right out with a little polish.

Really love my @coachbuilder +2’s!

 

Cleaned up niiiice!!! Also washed up on Thursday, and most stripes washed out but have a few that should go away with some buffing....just need to do it.

 

Replaced my middle console organizer with a new one.....

I have seat covers, floor mats, and an under the seat lock box I have to install..... Need to come up with a mod day and them done

 

I try to keep mine as clean as possible but don’t get crazy on buffing it out every time anymore. Usually once a year I’ll go to town on it. Then wash and spray wax with an occasional hand wax.

 

Hi Dave, setup looks awesome. Quick question. The tundra overlays under th ed radio, did u get from tvd and if so, which color red is that? I think they have a few different reds.

Love the look of yours. I been planning doing it for a while, just haven't got to it yet. Want to make sure when I do it, I get the same red.

 

I was thinking the same thing @woah62 . U dont see a ton of the sunset bronze around here. It actually brings back my Toyota selling days bc the tundra brochure back then had that color in a 1794 edition on the cover. Loved it back then and still to this day. Especially like the color matched grill n surround on it. I'm thinking if u color matched the chrome bumper ends it might just take it to next level too. Love the look, plus it's different and different is good imo. Nice truck.

 

They came from TVD but I didn’t get directly from them, another member sent me his spare set but they are the regular red.

 

Check out color lugs. Cheap effective way to black out ur lugs. Had them for while when I had stock wheels.

Lucky u. Nice. I figured they were from them. Since I've been planning to do this, I recall there being a couple reds to choose from. I really like the red u got. Just wondering which red it was. U recall who sent them to u? If so, if u or I could ask would be awesome. Just want to make sure I get it right. Yours looks right.

I already know I'm not walking out only paying 7. Hey if I can save a few bucks I'm all for it. I'm always looking for deals to save some coin to buy more.
