Great shots and videos guys! Being that my truck needs lots of attention (and money) thrown at it, I'd be willing to ride along as a photo guy/emotional support passenger on the next trail run

@Spvrtan We skipped the chute. Did your truck fit through there no problem? I was concerned with the off camber section and putting the drivers side body work into the wall. Scratches and pinstripes I’m good with but body damage I am not. All of the footage I have seen shows it’s not full-size friendly.

Trying to get the motivation to start editing the Gopro footage. I do have footage of @15whtrd tackling the 1st offshoot.

I have a few errands to run today so I'm not sure when I will get the video up......sorry :(

As others have said, 2WD for the entire main road, at least in the direction we took, from the Cleghorn exit.
We did have a great time! I'm hoping a video of the Hulk going up a side hill gets posted-- that's one Jeep-Allen took; thanks, Allen!

It's super fun going out with people who've not driven on dirt before, and watching 'em progress in just a few hours. By the end, Nick dropped "no" from his vocabulary and Andy was going up untested routes on his own!!
:fistbump: It helped that both had very supportive passengers!

(Andy, you'll be making good use of those Ikons you got delivered. I wished we lived closer. I'd love wheeling again with you!)

Yes, absolutely: my sista from anotha mista!! Besties for sure. SoCal Shenanigans, #onefamily

The Hulk is such an incredible truck; it kind of drives itself. It's an amazing achievement, @papasmurf building this truck in about 6 weeks.

Yes, let's! I need to spend weekends at home for a bit, catch up after weeks focused elsewhere, but on my weekdays off I'll start scouting for SD runs we haven't done yet. And Idyllwild will be kind of in-between for SD and OC/ Riverside peeps for summer time when it's too hot to do Anza Borego.

Yes, this! Allen was a good addition and willing to try everything. But-- didn't do anything the big booty Tundras didn't do as well.

Challenger was having way too much fun to stop and worry about video. That's the trade-off for sure, once you fall in love with dirt-- why some of people never take photos. :anonymous:
I wish I'd seen this! @Porschetech29 you are kind of a bad ass and it's great getting to see you drive that truck. Helps sell a lot of truck gear too! :p

For anyone reading along at home, no, we in the back group did not tackle the same obstacles as the front group did. But everyone stretched and learned, and gained off-road driving experience. Noted so no one who sat this one out feels uncomfortable joining in next time. Just like @eccracer104 did for us when we started, the Shenanigans will provide a welcoming introduction to anyone with a Tundra that wants to get out on dirt and see what you and your truck can do.

This would be awesome! I'd love to spend more time with you next meet (whether you ride with me or not). You are clearly a group favourite; I heard nothing but how nice you are, as soon as you left us. (You know how, once someone leaves, we talk about 'em.)

Haha! This truck is almost too easy! I've got to step up the difficulty of my routes to learn what we're capable of doing. Right now, the thing I'm paying attention to learning is the difference in width of the back vs. the front. No matter that I try to anticipate it, the rear wheels need a different route spotted than the front. On the other hand, even when I get it wrong (there's a video Jeep-Allen took showing me driving up an obstacle with a bunch of deep holes; not yet posted), the truck just keeps moving forward. ;)

It's like HulkSmash is an unstoppable force! But I definitely don't want to get lazy; I have a lot to learn.

Alright guys first thing I wanna do is give @Sunnier a huge thank you! You are a great leader and break things down to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Always making sure we have the right line and explaining our options. Even tho you could of gone out with the first group to have more fun on the offshoots you decided to stay with the no pinstripe crew lol. To all the SoCal group it was nice to meet you guys and for the ones I already met before it was nice seeing you guys again! @TheFreshMouse @JDL17CM4x4 and the rest of the riverside meet up crew it was nice to meet you guys all(sorry for not tagging every1 but I don’t remember screen names right now)

When you get more details about a sierras trip keeps us posted please. I don’t have a RTT or Tent but I heard about places that drop off travel trailers at certain camp grounds so might be able to get up there as a group.
