Side stripe, too much?

Curious what everyone thought. I just ordered the hood insert and I saw this. I think it looks awesome in the photo, but not sure how it would look on the side of my truck. Look good, or just too much?

 

I like it. Better than the pinstripes that's for sure!!

 

its ok I have seen some that run along the bottom of the doors that looks pretty good but same as you I have been hesitant about how it would actually look on the truck good thing is if you don't like it you can just peel it off

 

I love the hood decals. This ^ not so much.

 

it looks good but the truck has big tires. anything will look good on a truck with big tires..lol

I think it gives it a cool sport look, but just don't want to go over the top. Plus I think Ford does something similar, although what they do is ugly.

 

you should post a picture of your truck, same angle and someone will do a quick photoshop over it. then you can see if you like it or not

I think that'd look good myself. I have a buddy that has the near same decal on his F150, I kinda go back and forth on whether I like his or not.

 

I'm equally torn. I've wanted to always add something either along the side, or near the back removing the bed side decals and doing a larger image of something related to my nerd craft.

The silver and black though have a nice contrast that with the hood leading into the sides it could look pretty rad.

 

Best I could do unless I had a pic of just the stripe (Can you tell how bored I am at work today).

Yeah I like the TSS logos myself. I have mixed feelings about the door graphic though. Part of me thinks it would look great in person and part of me is a little iffy. So why don't we make it into a Nike Swoosh and add some more bedside swag? Sorry couldn't resist....I am closing down photoshop now...

But, if you do go with it, what would it look like starting the decal under the 5.7 badge? I think that they look better, just my .02

 

If you go with the stripe, I would debadge. Looks to busy IMO. Or make badges chrome again and color match the handles.

 

I would agree with the debadging the Truck as well. And starting at a lower point but also shape it to come off your fender flares.

 

I was thinking, move it forward. Have it wrap over the hood/cowl at the windshield. Then the 5.7 badge would be on the black......

I would put it forward a little more.

Lower position looks better but still looks too arbitrary. No flow.
