    Hey All,

I'm starting to look for a set of rock sliders for my 2006 Double Cab, and I'm hoping some of you have had some experience with the options available and might be able to help me make a decision. I'm pretty new to the truck based off-road exploring, and a motorcycle accident and resulting recovery are keeping me off street and dirt bikes for the next few months, so I'm looking to put some time and money into the Tundra.

The options I've found seem to be as follows:
    • Rocky Off-Road
    • White Knuckle Off-Road
    • Stubbs Welding
    • Hot Metal Fab
    • Victory 4x4
I'll be totally honest and admit I'm unclear as to any benefits / trade-offs of welded vs bolt-on, and would totally welcome any feedback or experiences you all have had!

Both myself and my wife also like the idea of having some type of step for getting into the truck, so that's a consideration as well. The Nerf steps that came with the truck when I bought it are just awful.

Thanks in advance for the input!

Front Bilstein 6112 shocks & Bilstein springs. Rear Bilstein 5160 remote Reservoir shocks, Wheeler’s Off-road add-a-leafs. LED lighting. Pioneer Avic 7200NEX Nav Head unit. Borla cat back exhaust.
If I was ordering today, I’d probably order the Rocky Road. It looks like you get a lot for the money.

As far as bolt-on vs weld-on, bolt-on can be DIY, you may have to drill a few holes. You can remove the bolt-on sliders if need be. Weld-on requires someone who can weld, whether you can DIY, have a buddy or have to pay a welder. Both should be of comparable strength.
