So I want to replace the door speakers in my 2011 Non-jbl DC with factory headunit (for now). Would it be better to replace all four speakers with 6.5 inch 3 way speakers or just replace he front with a set of 6.5 component speakers? Thanks

Either way will be marginal gains until you get more power; with amp or higher power HU.

I get that, but is it even worth upgrading the rear door speakers in a double cab? Thanks for the reply

    Alot of them
You wont hear much of the rear doors up front. I added 3.5's to the dash cutouts when i did my system and i hear them more than anything. :headbang:

I see what your saying. could probably argue eithet way. But have not done speakers.
I replaced HU, 50 watts x 4, kept stock speakers, really not awful, much better, no plans to change speakers.
